Terms of use
Short version: use Creed sensibly, be decent to the people you train with, and understand that an app is not a doctor. The long version follows.
The agreement
By downloading or using Creed you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are between you and Creed; Apple is not a party to them, though Apple may enforce them as a third-party beneficiary of your App Store licence.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 to hold an account.
- One account per person. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- Your handle and friend code are yours while your account is active. We may reclaim a handle that impersonates someone else.
This is not medical advice
Creed suggests loads, movements and calorie targets. It is software, not a physician, physiotherapist or dietitian. Get clearance from a qualified professional before starting a training programme, especially if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery, or managing a medical condition. Stop if something hurts. Every set you lift, you lift at your own risk.
Behaviour
The social surface of Creed is small and named — your friends, and people who redeemed your code. That is not a licence to be unpleasant. Do not harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, do not post content that is unlawful, hateful or sexual, and do not use cheers, comments or friend-written plans to send abuse. We can remove content and terminate accounts for any of the above, without a warning where the behaviour warrants it.
Your content
Your sessions, photos and plans are yours. You grant us a licence to store, process and display them for the purpose of running the app — showing them to the friends you chose, rendering your share cards, and producing your own history. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your content to advertise anything and we do not licence it to anyone else.
Share cards and links
A share card or invite link you export contains your display name, handle, friend code and the numbers shown on it. Once you post it, it is public — treat it that way. Rotating your friend code in the app stops old links from resolving.
Subscriptions
Creed is free to start. Where a paid tier exists it is sold as an auto-renewing App Store subscription, billed to your Apple Account, and renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings; we cannot cancel it for you. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy.
Availability
We aim to keep the service up but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features may change or be withdrawn. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Creed is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury arising from training you chose to do. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months, or USD 50.
Ending it
You can stop using Creed and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination do.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be surfaced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Questions go to hello@getcreed.app.
